Saber Healthcare Group hosted a Toys 4 Tails charity team building event in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The company brought together 350 employees for its seventh annual meeting, turning the gathering into a huge mix of competition, teamwork, and animal-themed fun. Since so many team members are passionate about pets, the Toys 4 Tails activity matched the group perfectly. Throughout the event, teams competed in fast-moving challenges while collecting toys, treats, and supplies for local rescue organizations. With hundreds of participants involved, the room stayed busy, loud, and full of energy the entire time.
Saber Healthcare supports skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across several states, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Indiana, Delaware, and North Carolina. Since starting with two facilities in the Cleveland area in 2001, the organization has expanded to support more than one hundred locations. The affiliated centers provide skilled nursing, rehabilitation care, assisted living, memory care, and long-term care services. Saber Healthcare Group also continues to invest in innovative healthcare technology and research to improve patient care and quality of life.
Saber Healthcare Group Employees Connect During Toys 4 Tails Event in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
With 350 people packed into the event, the Toys 4 Tails competition felt more like a giant game show than a typical meeting activity. Teams spread out across the room, jumping into challenges and trying to outscore each other while stacking up donations for rescue animals. The competitive side came naturally, but the atmosphere stayed relaxed and playful throughout the afternoon. Between rounds, coworkers caught up, joked around, and fully leaned into the pet-loving theme of the event.
Things got even more entertaining once Grand Strand Humane Society and Kind Keepers Pet Rescue arrived with adoptable dogs. Each rescue group brought several dogs into the room, and suddenly everyone’s attention shifted from the scoreboard to the puppies. Participants spent time playing with the dogs between challenges, which completely changed the energy in the best way possible. The biggest moment came when four dogs were adopted before the event even wrapped up. One attendee named Chuck picked up a puppy, called his wife on the spot, and decided to take the dog home immediately. Before the paperwork was even finished, the puppy already had a name: Buckeye. That unexpected ending became one of the most talked-about moments of the entire meeting.
We give a big thank you to Saber Healthcare Group for supporting local animal rescue organizations through this fun-filled team building event. We’d also like to thank Grand Strand Humane Society and Kind Keepers Pet Rescue for the amazing work they do for animals throughout the community.
