Fairfield Residential went big for its Build-A-Bike® corporate team building event in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the company’s Aspire conference, 400 managers from apartment communities across the country gathered at the South Point Hotel for an afternoon of teamwork with a purpose. What started as a room full of friendly competition ended with 40 brand-new bicycles ready for children in the Las Vegas community. The event blended connection, collaboration, and giving back on an impressive scale.

Fairfield Residential Brings 400 Managers Together for a Build-A-Bike® Event in Las Vegas, Nevada
Few team building events fill a ballroom quite like this one. Managers traveled from Fairfield communities across the United States, creating a room packed with energy before the first challenge even began. The Aspire conference already had everyone together, making it the perfect opportunity to strengthen relationships across regions.
Once the competition started, the ballroom buzzed with activity. Teams spread out, solved challenges, and raced to earn the parts needed to complete their bikes. Colleagues swapped ideas, cheered each other on, and worked with teammates they might never have met otherwise. Even with 400 people in the room, the event stayed organized while keeping the pace fast and engaging.
By the final countdown, 40 completed bicycles lined the room. Fairfield Residential chose to make the donation reach even further by supporting two different groups. Twelve bikes stayed with Fairfield and will be given to children living at the Wood Creek affordable apartment community in Las Vegas. The remaining 28 bicycles went to A Greater Hope, where they will be distributed during the organization’s back-to-school event in August.
Splitting the donation allowed the team’s efforts to benefit children in multiple ways. Some bikes will go directly to families within Fairfield’s own community, while others will support children in foster care as they prepare for a new school year. That thoughtful approach made the event feel even more meaningful. It also reflected Fairfield Residential’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communities wherever it operates.
We extend a sincere thank you to Fairfield Residential for its generosity and commitment to local families. We would also like to thank A Greater Hope for the important work it does to support foster children throughout the Las Vegas community.
