Inmar Intelligence found a creative way to bring their yearly employee gathering new life. Since not everyone could step away from work at the same time, the company split the experience into two separate Charade Murder Mystery events on back-to-back days at the Bowling Hall of Fame and Museum in Arlington, TX. While both groups investigated the same case, the similarities mostly ended there. Nearly every aspect of the experience unfolded differently. One group walked into the mystery completely unaware of what was coming. The other arrived ready to play detective. Together, the two events created a memorable experience packed with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of debate over who committed the crime.
Through curiosity and the intelligent use of data and technology, Inmar makes businesses smarter to improve consumers’ lives. The company has partnered with brands, retailers, and healthcare organizations for more than 40 years. Inmar Employees Dive Into Two Very Different Murder Mystery Events in Arlington, Texas

The first event featured the larger crowd, with five investigative teams working the case. What made this session special was the surprise factor. Most attendees believed they were walking into a traditional team building activity. Then, during what seemed like a normal icebreaker, someone suddenly collapsed. For a few moments, confusion filled the room, then everyone realized they had just become part of the mystery.
From there, the entire space transformed into an active crime scene. Investigators chased clues, questioned suspects, compared notes, and built theories. Every twist landed perfectly because nobody knew what was coming. The unexpected setup kept the group fully engaged from beginning to end.
The Second Event Had a Completely Different Personality
Many attendees already knew a murder mystery awaited them. Instead of reducing the excitement, it amplified it. Suspects showed up in costume. Detectives arrived ready for interrogation. Bandannas, patches, and prop cigars brought a layer of immersion. The atmosphere felt like interactive theater from the opening moments.
Questioning suspects quickly became the highlight. Detectives challenged alibis. Suspects defended themselves dramatically. Accusations flew across the room. Everyone committed fully to the experience. By the end of the second event, one investigative team achieved the highest score ever recorded in the program. It was a fitting finish to two days of collaboration, creativity, and nonstop participation.
What stood out most was how differently each group approached the same mystery. One group thrived on surprise. The other embraced the chance to fully immerse themselves in the story. Both groups turned an ordinary meeting into an experience employees will remember for years.
We would like to thank Inmar Intelligence for once again trusting us to be part of its annual employee gathering. The enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to embrace the experience made both events a tremendous success.
