KCAHE Engineers a Charity Teddy Bear Build in Kansas City, Kansas

This was KCAHE’s first time adding a community service workshop to its conference. The group wanted vendors and clients to network while giving back. Brett Nelson led the Rescue Bear® session. Six teams solved challenges to earn the parts for each bear.

The best part was the fit. Many of these attendees keep hospitals running every day. This time, they built something for the young patients inside those hospitals. The room radiated with energy as everyone worked together.

All 84 plush bears went to Children’s Mercy Kansas in Overland Park. Each bear will go to a child currently being treated there.

Add a charity team-building event to your next conference and give your attendees a reason to connect.
