Veolia Hold 2 Huge Charity Team Building Activities

On back-to-back days in May 2026, Veolia hosted two large-scale charity team building activities in two different states. The first brought employees and customers together in Litchfield Park, Arizona, for an Ace Race® competition. The very next day, Veolia’s Gulf Region team gathered in Houston, Texas, for a Build-A-Bike® event during its annual meeting. Combined, the events engaged more than 230 participants and generated donations that directly benefited local communities. By the end of the two-day effort, participants had donated 26 boxes of food and assembled 18 bicycles for children in need.

Veolia Goes Big With Two Charity Team Building Activities in Two States

The first stop was Arizona on May 5. For the second time partnering with our team, Veolia hosted an Ace Race® event that mixed networking, competition, and community service into one experience. The group included both employees and customers, creating opportunities for new conversations and stronger relationships throughout the day.

The event started with networking activities that quickly got people talking. From there, teams shifted into competition mode as they designed and played a mini-golf course built from donated food items. The room stayed busy as participants brainstormed ideas, tested their creations, and challenged one another on the course. By the end of the event, the group had collected 26 boxes of nonperishable food for the Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank.

Less than 24 hours later, the focus shifted from food donations to bicycles.

The Arizona Team Mixes Things Up With a Build-A-Bike®

Veolia’s Gulf Region team gathered at The Westin Houston Memorial City for its annual meeting, where 140 participants took part in a Build-A-Bike® event. The size of the group created a high-energy atmosphere from the start. Teams worked through challenges, earned bike parts, and raced to complete their builds while cheering each other on.

As bicycles began filling the room, the scale of the accomplishment became clear. By the end of the program, the team had successfully assembled 18 bikes for children in the Houston area. Seeing row after row of completed bicycles created a powerful visual reminder of what a large group can accomplish when everyone works toward the same goal.

Across two days, two states, and two very different activities, Veolia created an experience that connected people, strengthened relationships, and delivered meaningful support to local communities. The events showcased not only the company’s commitment to service but also its ability to bring large groups together around a shared purpose.

We give a big thank you to Veolia for its continued partnership and commitment to giving back. We’d also like to thank the Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank and the Houston-area charity partners for helping these donations reach the people who need them most.
