Five Below Raises the Roof With Charity Team Building in Atlantic City, New Jersey
The Five Below Leadership Retreat brought 275 leaders to the Ocean Casino Resort. They split into teams for a custom version of our aMAZEing Builders activity. The challenge tests how well a team communicates. Each team had to work together to earn toys for the donation.
The leaders collaborated, solved problems, and cheered each other on. The energy in the room was even bigger than at their first event with us. By the end, the teams had packed 75 gift bags full of toys.
Then Five Below raised the roof. The company surprised the Club with a $25,000 check to renovate teen spaces at its locations. The Club’s 2026 New Jersey Youth of the Year accepted the gift. Her moving speech closed the event and left the whole room inspired.
All 75 gift bags went to kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. The Club had a large presence at the event. Since 1970, it has helped young people reach their full potential.
